From the Cororner:
McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Michael Rein, announced that his office was contacted on September 9, 2025, around 1:00 pm by Northwestern Hospital McHenry to investigate the death of Terrence Hivon, age 77 of McHenry.
Mr. Hivon was involved in a 2-car accident around the intersection of N. Ringwood Rd. and W. Martin Rd. in McHenry.
Mr. Hivon was transported to Northwestern Medical Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday September 11, 2025.
The Coroner’s Office is continuing to work collaboratively with McHenry County Sheriff, McHenry Township Fire and Rescue District, and Northwestern Hospital McHenry.
