The Department of Homeland Security issued a press release yesterday which included photos of men allowed to roam the streets of Chicago after being arrested for heinous crimes.
Block Club Chicago downplayed the demonstration of the “worst of the worst” in its article on the subject:
The Homeland Security press release shared few details about the scope of the immigration enforcement operation aimed at the Chicago area. It did list about a dozen people it said were the “worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens” who had gone free due to “sanctuary” policies from government agencies including the Cook County Jail.
