I screwed up big time in my original attempt to compare party votes in the McHenry County Board districts that cover Marengo to Richmond through Harvard (District 8) and District 7, whcih goes from Woodstock to Wonder Lake.

In one instance I compared the GOP turnout in District 8 with the one for Democrats in District 7

The mistake is so egregious, I could not figure out how to correct it without starting over, which you can see below:

In District 7, the Republican side of the contest (Jeff Schwartz v. incumbent Brian Sager) there were 1,595 ballots cast.

The Democrat (Patrick Shea), running unopposed, receiver 2,409.
