From the Lake in the Hills Police:

Residents invited to Coffee with the Chief at Starbucks

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Lake in the Hills residents will have more opportunities in 2026 to discuss law enforcement matters in person with Police Chief Matthew Mannino.

The popular “Coffee with the Chief” gatherings return with another installment on Friday, April 3, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Starbucks, 343 N. Randall Road in Lake in the Hills.

The informal event is an opportunity for residents to ask questions, voice concerns and discuss important issues directly with Chief Mannino in a relaxed setting while enjoying a cup of coffee.

A special guest will be joining the Chief for the upcoming get-together: Lake in the Hills Village President Ray Bogdanowski.

The two community leaders look forward to talking about local initiatives and providing insights into village and police operations.

Of course the community’s new police headquarters recently opened at 2600 Village Hall Drive, enhancing law enforcement operations for those who live, work and spend time in Lake in the Hills.

So whether it’s simply to say hello, learn more about the new police facility or dive into an issue that needs clarity, residents should mark their calendars and take advantage of this special opportunity.

More installments of “Coffee with the Chief” in 2026 will be announced soon, with the quarterly events to rotate between the village’s two Starbucks locations and the new police headquarters.
