Hello!
My name is Jeanne Caifano, and I’m running for Republican Committeeperson in Precinct 13 of McHenry
Township.
Like others in my precinct, I never knew we had a precinct committee person.
In fact, when my mother was ill and in an extended care facility, I had to ask another precinct committee person, Kirk Donald, to check and see where my mother’s Vote By Mail Ballot was.
Kirk checked into it and my mom was able to vote.
I have lived in Johnsburg for over 50 years, in the same house along with my mother Carmelita, brother
Lenny, and sister Antionette.
I’m a product of D12 (Johnsburg School District).
Go Skyhawks!
All of the time I’ve lived in Johnsburg I have been a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Parish.
It’s because of my involvement with the parish that I’ve been able to contribute to the community in meaningful and impactful ways that far outweigh the promises of my opponent.
As President of the Ladies Auxiliary at St. John’s I’ve participated in food drives, coat drives, baby shower collections for expectant mothers, and co management of St. John’s Parish Fest.
It’s been reported that I haven’t voted in primary elections which is nonsense.
Although I wasn’t able to vote in the primaries in the last few years because of the death of my brother, my mother’s hospitalization, and my own hospital stay, public records will clearly show I’ve voted solidly Republican in primary elections.
I’m Pro Life, Pro First and Second Amendment, and Pro Law Enforcement.
My upbringing taught me that the best way to protect your personal freedom is to vote Republican, and now I want to bring my passion for our beautiful town of Johnsburg to the Republican Party.
That’s why I’ve chosen the campaign slogan “A Hometown Girl with a Hometown Spirit”.
I’m very good at fundraising so I’m excited to use that talent as Precinct Committee Person.
I won’t be raising money for my own personal pacs and political ambitions, I’ll be raising funds for the McHenry Township GOP to support our local politicians and candidates.
I’ve joined together with other local Precinct Persons to recruit
young people to help canvass our precincts to keep you informed about our Republican candidates, Because the
Republican Party is the party of the working family, we should not solicit endorsements or endorse during Prima-
ry Elections, however my opponent has chosen to do just that, all but one endorsement from people who have
nothing to do with Johnsburg. My biggest endorsement is knowing you, the brushed over voters of Johnsburg!
Please remember my opponent filed to run as Precinct Committee Person (previously she had been ap-
pointed) after she realized I had filed, and then she filed on the last day.
Is that what we are?
The residents of Precinct 13 are more than an afterthought!
She also claimed she increased voter turnout by 8.9% in the 2025 Consolidated Election, which unfortunately is a fabrication.
It was your spirit, internal canvassing, phone calls, and letters that brought voters out to vote in a highly contested Village race.
I hope that you will come out and vote for me in the same way!
I want to be your representative for the local Republican Party. Enclosed please find a listing of our local elected officials and titles (all Republicans!).
Those with an asterisk next to their name are running for reelection in the General Election on Nov.3,’26.
The only time to vote for Precinct Committee Persons is through Early Voting (begins Feb.5) or on March 17, ‘26 (Primary Election Day).
This is their election day. I’ve also enclosed an Early Voting Schedule.
I sincerely thank you for your time today!
