For the first time in my 60-70 year memory, the Republican Party could not find a candidate to run for a statewide office: State Treasurer.
Now Max Solomon, who tried to get on the ballot for the GOP gubernatorial nomination has offered to run for State Treasurer.
But, the only way to get on the ballot is to receive enough write-in votes to equal the number of signatures he would have had to gather had he gone the petition route.
