The GOP Information Project did what other counties Republican Party did.
The organization sponsored forum to which all gubernatorial candidates were invited.
Three came:
- Ted Dabrowski
- James Mendrick
- Rick Heidner
One did not:
- Darren Bailey
A Friend of McHenry County Blog brought to my attention that Bailey had nothing else going on Sunday:
The sponsors put the topics to which the candidates should speak on a screen above the podium. County Clerk Joe Tirio moderated the event.
Ted Dabrowski and James Mendrick spoke.
Rick Heider also addressed the crowd.
Lt. Governor candidates were also invited.
On the left is Aaron Del Mar, Darren Bailey’s Lt. Governor candidate. On the right is Christina Neitzke-Troike, mayor of Homer Glen and Lt Governor candidate on Rick Heidner ticket.
