According to the campaign finance report filled with the Illinois State Board of Elections, the McHenry County Democratic Party had $50,093.97 available at the end of the year.
Most of the $7,332.16 in campaign contributions came in amounts less that $150.
The only donations higher than that came from
- Evan Lewis of Woodstock – $250
- Schneider for Congress – $500
While raising $7,300, the committee spent $12,989.99.
A good deal was for office rental and utilities.
$1,500 went to McHenry County College for room rental for the group’s closed monthly meetings.
$250 was paid in dues to the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Computer software was purchased from
- Mailchimp
- NationBuilder
- Zoom Communications of San Jose
There was also money spent at Jewel and Target for food.
A Christmas Party was held at Moontime Smokin’ Que on Crystal Lake’s North Shore, costing almost $1,700.
About a thousand dollars was expended for office and other supplies.
About $12,000 went to the Post Office and UPS, the largest for a $915 mailing on October 20th.
Additional money was spent on fund raising through NationBuijlder.
The Democrats ended up spending about $5,000 more than was raised from contributions.
