Shooting of “protester” in Minneapolis exactly what the Left is counting on
We had the George Floyd riots because of an emotionally powerful photo.
Never mind that, from other angles, it didn’t appear that Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Michael Chauvin, didn’t have his knee on Floyd’s neck; with that powerful image, the damage was done.
The Democrats have been hoping and, to the degree that they would allow themselves, praying for a George-Floyd 2.0 type incident they can hang their hats on again.
They’re hoping that they’ve got it again.
A mother of three is shot by an ICE agent and the photos and outrage are all over the news, the internet and social media.
Even failing print publications are pushing the story.
But, if you pay attention, you’ll notice that the photos the Left and their supporting lapdogs use are all from a particular angle.
They never use the photos or video that show the ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Nicole Good in front of the car as she drives into him.
They w-i-l-l n-o-t show that angle.
It doesn’t fit the narrative – their narrative.
If you listen to the Left, it all comes down to the same issue – racism.
George Floyd was killed because he was black.
Trump and ICE are seeking to deport illegal aliens because they’re “black or brown” people.
But that’s actually the Left’s public explanation for their defense of illegals.
The truth is, and a few years ago I saw a video of Joe Biden explaining it, they want to change the demographics of America.
But I don’t even believe that. I believe it comes down to elitists at the top of a party who will use any tool to gain power.
With Floyd, they gleefully used a drug addict, porn actor, criminal who had held a gun to a pregnant woman’s belly as their hero.
Floyd’s heroic act?
He died of an overdose while in the hands of police.
But, for the Left, that’s good enough. As long as he created the political chaos they sought, he’s just the hero they were looking for.
Now they’re ready to give Nicole Good the same treatment.
Headlines from a Google search suggest she was “an amazing human being” and, according to NBC, that she was “one of a kind.”
The process of lionizing her has begun.
And to raise her praises is to simultaneously demonize ICE, Pres. Donald Trump and anyone who supports him.
That is clearly the goal. But the goal most likely goes farther than that.
Ask yourself this question: if Nicole Good’s death incite violent riots across America, if people are killed and/or die, if small businesses are ruined, and billions of dollars of property are destroyed, will that disappoint the Left?
Oh, they may feign regret.
But I don’t believe, not for one minute, that they won’t be jumping with joy behind closed doors.
Remember, their last candidate for president, before she was Biden’s vice president, was bailing out “protesters” who were burning down Minneapolis so they could return to the carnage.
And don’t forget, we’ve had violence leading to this incident.
This is not the first time an anti-ICE “protester” has used their vehicle as a weapon to attack ICE (I’ve seen the video and there is no doubt she was pulling her car into an ICE agent).
If the Left was concerned about this issue building up into a violent climax, they certainly haven’t shown that concern by continuing to demonize ICE in the vilest terms.
The way the Left goes after ICE, it’s as though they’re trying to justify violence against ICE.
As far as I’m concerned, it’s not “as though” they’re trying to justify violence against ICE; that’s exactly what they wanted.
And their deepest desire is that one of their people gets killed by ICE in a way that the Left, and their lapdog media, can spin the story to blame ICE.
