Tedora Brown has been kicked off the ballot for the lack of two more “good” signatures.”

Tedora Brown was the only potential opponent to Bill Foster that I saw at the Marengo Parade. Charlie Kim told me he was also there, but I couldn’t catch a photo of him.
Elburn resident Blanca Sanders challenged her petitions.
She is one of four Republicans who seek to challenge Democrat Bill Foster for Congress.
Coincidentally, one of the candidates is Elburn Mayor Jeff Walter.
The other two are
- Charlie Kim and
- Mike Pierce
While 800 signatures were required and Brown submitted 1,018, that figure was pared down to 798.
Brown faces Federal fraud charges dating back to the Covid business grants and Small Business Administration loans.

I always recommend candidates get twice the number of signatures required.
