Rollover Crash at Route 14 and Hughes Road
On Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 8:38 a.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District was dispatched to the intersection of Route 14 and Hughes Road in unincorporated Woodstock for a reported two vehicle crash with entrapment.

Several additional 911 callers reported that one of the vehicles had overturned and that two occupants were unable to get out.

A medical helicopter was initially placed on standby due to the unknown extent of injuries.
Crews arrived a short time later and confirmed a two vehicle crash occurred in the intersection.
One vehicle had rolled onto its roof and came to rest in the ditch with heavy damage. All occupants had exited prior to the arrival of firefighters.
The driver and passenger of the rolled over vehicle were evaluated by paramedics and declined any additional treatment or transport.
The driver of the second vehicle, who was the sole occupant, also declined further medical attention.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
