Vehicle Crash in Driveway Sends Parked Car into Home

On October 17, 2025, at 9:01 a.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to the 9800 block of Creekside Drive in Wonder Lake for a reported vehicle crash with possible injuries.

Crews arrived and located what appeared to be a two-vehicle crash in the driveway of a two-story residential home.

It was reported to crews that a Jeep, driven by an elderly man, had crashed into a parked vehicle in the driveway, flipping the parked car into the garage of the home.

The driver was out of the vehicle upon arrival and was uninjured in the crash.

The home was occupied at the time, but no injuries were reported.

Firefighters secured the vehicles and confirmed that no structural damage was sustained to the residence. Crews remained on scene for approximately 45 minutes before returning to service.

The crash is being investigated by the Wonder Lake Police Department. Any additional questions regarding the crash, including cause, fault, or contributing factors, should be directed to their office.
