From Democratic Party congressional hopeful Bruce Leon, running in Algonquin Township:
Bruce Leon Reports More Than $815,000 On Hand
Skokie — Bruce Leon, Democratic candidate for Congress in Illinois’ 9th District, announced that his campaign entered the final quarter of 2025 with more than $815,000 cash on hand, following a third quarter that added over $93,000 in new contributions.
Leon’s campaign is now among the top-funded efforts in the race for Illinois’ 9th Congressional District, leaving him well-positioned to share his message and compete for votes in a crowded field.
“Support is growing from across the 9th District, growing out from my base in Skokie, Evanston, Lincolnwood, and Rogers Park,” Leon said. “This campaign is about service, about rebuilding trust in leadership, and about bringing people together to solve problems rather than score points.”
The campaign reported a disciplined operation focused on direct voter contact and community engagement, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and strategically. As a first-time congressional candidate, Leon has only just begun to tap into his local and regional networks, laying the foundation for continued growth in the months ahead.
The campaign’s latest FEC report also reflects support from a broad range of contributors, including Americans4Hindus PAC, evidencing an expanding coalition that extends beyond Leon’s initial base.
Leon’s campaign continues to attract support among small-business owners, families, and community leaders who want practical solutions and cooperation in Washington, not more division.
