While I’ll be in Springfield this week for the fall Veto Session, the Senior Fair I’m co-hosting with Senator Craig Wilcox is all set to go for tomorrow (Tuesday, October 14) in Crystal Lake. Dozens of agencies and non-profits that cater to the needs of older Illinoisans will be under one roof to provide information and free services to the senior population and their caregivers
- October 14: Senior Fair in Crystal Lake, Grand Oaks Recreation Building 1401 IL-176, 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Free services available for attendees include:
- Blood Pressure Checks
- Vaccinations available by Walgreens
- IPASS (switch out your plastic IPASS transponder for the new sticker technology)
- ICASH (search and file claims for unclaimed cash and property through the Treasurer’s database)
- Senior Living Information
- Transportation Services
- Veteran Services
- Energy Info
