Man Critically Injured in Fall from Garage Roof
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:27 a.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to the 10600 block of Deerpath Road in unincorporated Woodstock for a report of a fall victim.
Paramedics arrived and located an adult male who had fallen approximately 10–12 feet from the roof of a detached garage.
The man, who was performing work on the property, sustained critical, life-threatening injuries from the impact with the ground.
A medical helicopter was requested and landed at the helipad at Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital, where the ambulance met the flight crew.
The patient was then airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for further treatment.
No other injuries were reported, and how the exactly fall occurred was not immediately known.
