From the Huntley Fire Protection District:
During the fire response, additional Huntley crews were dispatched to the intersection of Haligus Road and Reed Road after a 12-year-old child was struck by a vehicle.
Huntley Fire personnel evaluated both the child and the driver, who were released at the scene with no reported injuries. The Huntley Police Department handled the crash investigation.
