When I wrote the article linked below about the County Board’s discussion of next year’s budget, there were members who views my notes did not capture.
The first to reply to my emailed quire was Woodstock’s Paul Thomas.
The second was Carl Camienski. His reply follows:
“I am in no way in favor of a look back.
“What I took away from yesterday’s meeting is that there are 3 buckets of shit.
“And we need to decide which bucket of shit we will vote on.
“The look back to me is that we told the voters that we would take the 10 mill off the tax levy from the health board and it would not go back.
“Well here they want to get it back under a different name.
“It reminds me of a saying that a former governor once said (“you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig”).
