Every year at my Lead Like Lincoln Breakfast Fundraiser, I invite an honorary Guest Speaker that has exemplified excellent leadership in their community.
Past speakers have included Speaker of the House Emmanuel “Chris” Welch, Lieutenant Governor and Candidate for US Senate Juliana Stratton, IL-09 Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, and IL-03 Congresswoman Delia Ramirez.
This year, we’re honored to have Mayor Daniel Biss of Evanston speak at Lead Like Lincoln!
Daniel Biss is a former IL State Representative, former IL State Senator, and candidate for IL-09 Congressional District.
He began his career as a mathematician at the University of Chicago before becoming an organizer.
His exemplary leadership made asking him to be our honorary Guest Speaker an easy choice.
District 66 shares a portion of District 9, making Lead Like Lincoln a great opportunity to learn more about a strong candidate of IL-09.
