Niko Kanakaris announces his run for Mchenry Counry Board District 9
I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for McHenry County Board – District 9.
For 16 years, I served as a Huntley Village Trustee, working to keep our community safe, support local businesses, and protect taxpayers.
Now I’m ready to bring that same experience and conservative leadership to the County Board.
District 9 is a strong conservative district — made up of Huntley and the rural properties stretching west to the county line.
We don’t need a “Republican in name only” who votes with the Democrats.
It’s time for a change.
I’m running to keep taxes low, maintain public safety, and make sure our county government stays accountable to the people it serves.
