Fox River Grove Supplements Tree Program
Given the significant tree loss caused by the storms in August, the Fox River Grove Village Board approved a one-time $20,000 supplement to its tree replacement program at its September 2nd Board meeting.
Until June 1, 2026, residents will have access to this additional funding with the following enhanced parameters:
- One tree per home
- Reimbursements of 75% of the cost of a tree purchase and planting; up to $40
- Additional funding will only be available on a first-come, first-served basis until $20,000 has been exhausted.
“The August storms caused substantial tree damage in the majority of the Fox River Grove community,” said Village President Marc McLaughlin.
“Our Board wanted to respond with a financial incentive for our residents to help us replace as many trees as possible.”
