From the agenda of the Fox River Grove Village Board’s September 2nd Board meeting:
The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance that would implement a 1% Non-Home Rule Municipal Retailers’ Occupation Tax and Non-Home Rule Municipal Service Occupation Tax effective January 1, 2026.
This tax would not apply to groceries, prescription drugs, certain medical devices, or vehicles.
