Don Doherty, pharmacist, was one of the first people I visited when I was running for McHenry County Treasurer in 1966.
His drug store was on Green Street.
My father served with him on the McHenry County Board.
I can only imagine how ashamed he would be today as his son was sentenced to a year behind Federal prison bars.

Tom Roeser used to be President of the City Club. He brought to the forefront of political discussion.
Roeser was the legislative man for Quaker Oats.
The Tribune summarizes the sentences of the other three ComEd Four:
“Last month, former ComEd CEO Anne Pramaggiore and lobbyist Michael McClain, who was one of Madigan’s closest confidants, were each sentenced to two-year prison terms. Ex-ComEd executive John Hooker, meanwhile, was given a year and a half behind bars.”
