First local Democrats tried to convince the Republican McHenry County Board to close the floor of the McHenry County Jail used to house illegal aliens.
When that failed, Illinois Democrats passage legislation mandating closure of the facilities in McHenry and Kankakee Counties.
Now comes a call for closure of the ICE detention center in Chicago:
No one ever complained about the living conditions on the ICE detention floor in the McHenry County Jail.
Democrats need to consider consequences of their actions.
Shutting down McHenry County’s housing of illegal aliens certainly has come back to bite them in the butt.
