From Charlene Bliss Beyer of Helenville, Wisconsin:

A tribute to the Powerful and Wonderful woman, Irene Napier

In the 80’s, I was a young mother of 5, was busy with homeschooling and running a household.

In 1982, after reading the kindergarten curriculum, I sent my first tea bag to my Congressman in Washington.

From there I became active in being a voice for the un-born and began my own political involvement.

Even though I lived in Lake County, it was Irene Napier who grabbed me, loved me, encouraged me and became the wind beneath my wings.

We built Pro-Life Floats for parades in Lake County in the 80’s and 90’s and drove them to the farm on Valley View Road so Irene could have them driven in McHenry County Parades.

The letter writing, fax and phone campaigns became the movement that allowed us to be the voice for the un-born.

It was well known that no politician could win McHenry districts without the blessing of Irene Napier.

That statement was 100% true. Many candidates did go on to win and maintain their seats with her endorsement and support.

Congressman Phil Crane, Congressman Don Manzullo, and State Representative Al Salvi to name a few.

Irene Napier was a tremendous blessing in my life.

We laughed together, strategized together and her energy & insight was amazing!

Irene Napier will forever remain in my heart!

Blessings to the entire family as they Celebrate her wonderful life!

May the legacy of Irene Napier live on forever!!
