The Lake in the Hills Police Department releases Fourth of July enforcement statistics
Lake in the Hills, IL – The Lake in the Hills Police Department issued a total of 75 citations, including .arrests, during the recent Fourth of July “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” “Drive High Get a DUI,” and “Click It or Ticket” safety campaigns that ran from June 20 through July 7.

- 1 – Disregarding Traffic Signal
- 2 – Improper Lane Usage
- 1 – No Registration Plate
- 4 – No Insurance
- 10 – Speeding
- 1 – Graduated Driver’s License Violation
- 1 – Disregard Stop Sign
- 1 – Disregard Traffic Control Device
- 1 – Improper U-Turn
- 1 – Failure to Signal
- 3 –Driving While License Suspended/Revoked Arrest
- 3 –Speeding 35+ MPH Over Limit Arrest
- 1- Wanted on Warrant Arrest
Law enforcement agencies throughout Illinois participated in this statewide effort to get drunk, high and drugged drivers off our roads and encourage seat belt use.
The Lake in the Hills Police Department joined forces with more than 200 other state and local law enforcement agencies conducting the safety effort, which featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including a media campaign.
