Traffic Accident at Longmeadow Pkwy & Sleepy Hollow Road
Algonquin, IL – June 17, 2025 – At approximately 3:41 a.m. this morning, Algonquin Police Officers responded to a traffic collision involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle at the intersection of eastbound Longmeadow Parkway and Sleepy Hollow Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a motorcycle, operated by a single rider, was traveling eastbound on Longmeadow Parkway approaching Sleepy Hollow Road.
A white sedan, traveling westbound on Longmeadow Parkway, attempted to turn southbound onto Sleepy Hollow Road, resulting in a collision within the intersection.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital by the Carpentersville Fire Department.
The driver of the sedan was uninjured.
Longmeadow Parkway and Sleepy Hollow Road remain closed at this time as the investigation continues.
