Motorcycle Crash with Critical Injuries
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 3:24 p.m., the Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts responded to the area of County Line Road and Harmony Road in unincorporated Marengo for a reported motorcycle crash.
Upon arrival, crews located a motorcycle in the ditch and bystander CPR being administered to an adult male patient.
Paramedics immediately took over life-saving efforts and determined the patient had sustained critical, life-threatening injuries.
A medical helicopter was requested to the scene, and LifeNet landed in a nearby field; however, a decision was made to transport the patient by ambulance to a local hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances of the crash. All inquiries regarding the investigation, including contributing factors, should be directed to their office.
