The Village of Fox River Grove is instituting a ban on wells in a fairly large area around the now-closed Grove Plating factory.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is that there are no identified wells used for potable water within the defined area.

The map in the ordinance covers all property within 200 feet of the modeled pollution plume.
