Message of the Day – A Bumper Sticker
I found this bumper sticker on a Georgia car. It says,
MOTORCYCLES ARE EVERYWHERE
You'll notice that the Georgia license plate is one supporting wildlife.

Message of the Day – Bumper Stickers
This car probably has the most bumper stickers of any I have taken pictures of.There are eight of them.
You really have to enlarge the picture by clicking on it to get the full impact.
Let’s look at the ones on the left side first.
The first one has a motorcycle rider being blow parallel to the bike by the wind.
RIDE TO WORK
The second may be a reference to a past vacation:
Bottom left appears
FIREFIGHTER
AND PROUD OF IT
There is also the logo of the firefighters union.
These are on the right side:
BUT, OCCASIONALLY, I LEAVE HER TO FIGHT A FIRE!
There are three in the middle. The biggest has a motor cycle wearing the number “15” with the word “FUEL” in larger letters next to the rider.
“2007 EAA” with a plane flying out of the letters is to the left.
Beneath the EAA sticker is an English dragon standing up with “Sport Kilt” above the crest.
And, at the bottom is a White Sox
So, we know this car is owned by a male, fire fighting, motor cycle riding, White Sox fan and, maybe, that he wears kilts and vacations in Baja.
Can you come up with anything else?

Message of the Day – A Tee Shirt
You know those tee shirts saying that Mom and Dad went to this place or that and all they brought me was this tee shirt?Well, Mom and Dad went to New York City last weekend and of all the tee shirts vendors were trying to sell around the World Trade Center site, this is the one Mom picked out.
It says,
New York
And, do you think there are motorcycles in New York City? You bet there are.
Great for slipping in between traffic, I would imagine.
Here’s one between a bus and a car in front of a subway entrance.
I was surprised at all the street vendors and amazed at the 10-20 vendors who wanted to sell be Rolex watches.
I managed to resist.
I can't remember wearing a watch since my college Timex.

Message of the Day - A Tee Shirt
Here’s another tee shirt I found at State Senator Chris Lauzen’s Porky Picnic. It was one of about a table full of ABATE members.
The message on the tee shirt?
MATTER
I
VOTE
Not only do ABATE members vote, but they also put up campaign signs.

Message of the Day – A Banner
Our family was driving on Dirksen Parkway from the Drury Inn in southeast Springfield to the Old Capitol Art Fair in May when I saw this banner in from the Illinois Department of Transportation headquarters building. I barely got off this shot in time to capture the message.
Reading the Chicago Tribune on Wednesday reminded me of the banner.
It says,
Start Seeing Motorcycles
There is another banner on Route 31 north of Algonquin in front of a gravel pit.Obviously the Escort-driving Mary Lewis of Barrington, who rear-ended 58-year old Fox River Grove motorcyclist Bruce Ankele on Route 12 near Big Hollow Road, wasn’t heeding the banner’s advice.
Ankele was slowing for a red light “when a speeding car struck him from behind,” the Tribune story says. The Daily Herald story by Lee Filas adds some details.

Message of the Day – Patches
He was attending Sunday night’s concert at Lakeside Festival.
The top patch on the right hand side has an American flag and says,
The one right below says,THESE COLORS
DON’T RUN
LOUD PIPESOn the left is a Route 66 patch and another that I can’t figure out.
SAVE LIVES
I see the word “FREE” on the right.
Anyone know what the rest of the patch says?
