How fitting. Our government leaders suspend 4th amendment rights, and educational leaders follow suit. All in response to the college school shootings. Lack of civil liberties starts with education. Why not just have metal detectors when they come in? Seems less of a discriminatory policy (let's be honest here, some administrator will be bias in her/his selection of the "random" searches. Perhaps we should see statistics of the racial and ethnic background that these searches turn up. Weapons, drugs, paraphernalia, and all sorts of other things will be found.
