Fooling Forsythia

We are in the oak-hickory forest part of Lakewood.

That means lots of leaves.

I mean lots of leaves.

Trying to rake up the ones along our busy road, I found forsythia blooms.

There aren’t many.

Here are two.

Contrast them with this stormy photo from October 12th.
