Message of the Day – Ribbons

At Carpentersville District 300’s overcrowded board meeting Monday night, I saw these ribbons and this message on a table in front of one of the stairways to the auditorium.

One ribbon said,
Save Our CUSD 300
on one side and on the other,
Bus rivers
Other ribbons had the same message on the left:
Save Our CUSD 300
And on the right either
Assistants
or
Mechanics
The placard underneath said,
SAVE OUT
CUSD 300
Bus Drivers
Bus Assistants
Bus Mechanic

Didn't they (D300 Transportation, which include drivers, mechanics) just sign a new contract? I was under the impression that it was only D300 teachers (LEAD union) and support staff (DESA) that were in negotiations.

Official contract expire next high tide, me thinks.
