Time for another report on the $3,400 owed to my Village of Lakewood for services rendered on July 16th.

When I last checked in on August 26th, Police Chief Lawrence Howell said he had been told,

We are on the list of bills to be paid September 1st.

I called Chief Howell for an update and here is what he said,

We have received all of our money from them $3,384.

I sent them the bill on July 17th.

I received the first check from them on September the 8th. That was for $3,046.

That was exactly 90% of what we had asked for.

The next check was for $338.53.

$3,384.53 was what our total payment was.

We have received it all and they were very gracious that they had made a mistake on the initial check and immediately sent out the second check.
