Any idea if Mayor Daly's push to get the 2016 Olympics here in Chicago isn't partly to distract everyone's attention from the "Chicago Games" deal? Doesn't seem like he's a wild supporter either...
The city and Mayor Daley are a BIG supporter of the games, speking openly about it many times. He ALSO honestly wants to pursue the Olympic games if possible to bring lots of attention and to our great city.
OK, my mistake. I've just not heard much public comment from Daley leading up to the event.
If this were an olympics, it'd be in the news every day and Daley would be sure to have his fair share of things to say.
