I'd like to express my appreciation to Cal for his outstanding blog, calling attention to many pertinent issues in our county.
Now I'm jealous! Your RINO got more dough from Personal PAC than my RINO did. Poor Sid Mathias (R) INO had to make do with just $5298.88 of in-kind Personal PAC donations for printing/mailing attack ads on Scott Bludorn in the 53rd IL House District race.
But as I mentioned, this type of ad may well backfire among actual Primary Election voters, since such ads serve to actually cement opinions of pro-life voters. These ads also inform voters who may not otherwise know candidates' stands on abortion issues. Since the case can be made that most Republican Primary Voters are pro-life, the ads may actually have an unintended affect on the election outcome.
So Thanks Personal PAC for the free ads branding your candidates as pro-abortion.
