District 200 Tax Hike Committee Scores More – Harris Bank’s Hubert Wants to Put the Bite on Woodstock Taxpayers
$5,500 more into the kitty of the District 200 tax hike committee was reported yesterday.

And, speaking of kitties, a grown-up one named Hubert wants to take a bite out of your pocket book.
Harris Bank (actually Harris N.A.) gave $5,000 to the effort to pass the bond referendum.

Harris is known as a business bank, isn’t it? I wonder if its local homeowner-depositors will still feel warm and fuzzy.
In addition, another developer--this one of custom homes--named Case Homes kicked in an additional $500.
Peanuts compared to developer Kirk Homes’ $15,000, but every little bit helps when you’re running an over $50,000 campaign.
